The automatic strap removal robot system is mainly used in the entry area of production lines such as pickling-rolling, galvanizing, and continuous annealing. The entire device can operate automatically without human assistance. A six-joint robot carries a strap cutting head and sensors to complete steel coil diameter measurement and steel coil width measurement, automatically identify the strip head direction, and automatically complete strap lifting and cutting actions according to the strap position. The cut waste straps are automatically coiled and collected, and transported to the collection hopper via a conveyor belt. This frees operators from the tedious work of strap removal and greatly improves production efficiency.
