Flexible Feeder
Solution Overview
For the precision assembly section in the electronics industry—flexible feeding and assembly of components, this solution adopts the ESTUN ER6-600-SR six-axis robot, paired with a high-stability vibratory bowl feeder and industrial vision system, to achieve automatic directional arrangement, precise positioning, and picking of randomly bulk-fed components (such as micro connectors, precision terminals, and electronic housings). Through vision algorithms, it identifies component posture and dimensional deviations in real time, guiding the robot to complete multi-station assembly, insertion, pressing, and initial quality inspection. It supports mixed-line feeding of multiple component types, adapting to small-batch, multi-variety production needs. At the rear end, it can be linked with tightening machines, dispensing machines, and other equipment to form a fully automated flexible assembly cell.

Case Features

1. Efficient Intelligent Collaboration

The flexible feeding vibratory bowl feeder works in coordination with the vision system, compatible with irregular components ranging from 0.1 to 20 mm in size. Randomly fed materials can be loaded directly, eliminating manual sorting, with a feeding cycle time of up to 30 PCS/min.

2. High-Precision Assembly

Vision positioning accuracy is ±0.03 mm, dynamically compensating the robot's picking path, with an assembly position error of ±0.05 mm, meeting the micron-level fitting requirements of precision electronic components.

3. Rapid Changeover

With modular vibratory bowl feeder design and parameterized vision recipes, changeover only requires replacing fixtures and recalling programs, supporting multi-batch order production within the same day.

4. Intelligent Error Correction

The vision system detects component defects (deformation, chipped corners, stains, etc.) and assembly status in real time, automatically sorting defective products into an NG bin, with a yield rate of ≥99.5%.
