Steel Coil Labeling
Steel Coil Labeling

Solution Background
In the context of continuous upgrading of the global automotive industry, consumers are raising increasingly stringent requirements for vehicle quality, safety performance and manufacturing precision. As the core load‑bearing structure of an automobile, the welding quality of Body‑in‑White directly determines vehicle rigidity, crash safety and assembly accuracy. Traditional manual spot‑welding processes suffer from low efficiency and poor consistency. Intensified industry competition is accelerating OEMs’ transition toward intelligent, high‑precision welding solutions.
Solution Overview
This solution adopts the Estun ER220B‑2650 six‑axis spot‑welding robot system (220 kg payload, 2650 mm reach, ±0.06 mm repeat positioning accuracy). The system integrates robot manipulator, additional axes and cable harness package, paired with Estun self‑developed complete sets of servo welding guns, welding power sources and tip dressers. Controlled via Profinet fieldbus from host computer, it performs high‑strength spot‑welding for body‑in‑white and auto components.
