Battery Tray Welding
Solution Background
As a key safety component of new energy vehicles, the battery tray market continues to grow rapidly. The industry is moving toward lightweight, integrated, and modular development, while requirements for thermal management performance and safety continue to rise. Against the backdrop of high-strength steel gradually becoming mainstream and the rising proportion of PHEV models, welding processes need to balance efficiency, compatibility, and cost control.

Solution Overview
This solution is suitable for laser welding and MAG welding operations of new energy battery tray frames, panels, and assemblies. It adopts a dual-robot welding cell paired with a heavy-load positioner to achieve streamlined automated production.

Case Features

1. The H-type fully automatic welding cell is paired with a 3T load positioner, supporting quick-change tooling and valve island quick connectors, and is compatible with rapid changeover of multiple workpiece specifications;

2. The entire machine is under unified PLC control with one-click changeover; external axes are PLC-driven, improving equipment lifespan and operational efficiency;

3. Laser wire-filling welding is paired with a dual wire feeding mechanism, achieving a welding speed of up to 3 m/min for high-speed, high-quality welding;

4. It achieves EIP communication with mainstream galvanometers and boards, supporting one-click recall of parameters such as ramp-up/ramp-down and weaving on the teach pendant.
