Solution Background
As the manufacturing industry moves toward flexibility and intelligence, the application of 2D vision is also experiencing explosive growth. More and more users are encountering the following pain points: when industrial six-axis robots are used with 2D vision photography, especially in multi-point photography scenarios, the robot's continuous starting and stopping leads to relatively low photography efficiency. In this case, the robot needs to trigger the camera to complete photography during motion, while ensuring that the photography accuracy can be basically consistent with fixed-point photography. In response to this customer need, ESTUN has innovatively developed a flying-shot solution for industrial six-axis robots.

Solution Overview
ESTUN has innovatively developed a flying-shot board for six-axis industrial robots, which can achieve microsecond-level position output and meet the cycle time and accuracy requirements of vision positioning and inspection applications.

Case Features

1. Significant Cycle Time Improvement

Depending on the distribution of photography points, the cycle time can be improved by 3 to 20 times. Taking 10 photography points as an example, the cycle time is greatly shortened from 11 seconds to 2.8 seconds.

2. Accuracy Guarantee

In the robot's full-speed operation mode, the photography accuracy at flying-shot points can be consistent with fixed-point photography, with no loss of accuracy.
